IQGAP

IQGAPs (IQ motif containing GTPase activating proteins) are a family of scaffolding proteins that includes three members: IQGAP1, IQGAP2, and IQGAP3. The IQGAP proteins have a similar domain structure and share a lot of the same sequence. These domains are involved in the interaction of IQGAPs with a variety of proteins. IQGAP1 and IQGAP3 are regarded as tumour inducers, while IQGAP2 is considered a tumour suppressor.
